2901 0014 50 OEM Scroll Compressor Check Valve Kit with Piston and O-rings

2901 0014 50 is used on a wide variety of Atlas Copco and Chicago Pneumatic oil free scroll air compressors. Sometimes they will have one single check valve for the entire compressor, however often you would need a check valve for each pump. The check valve is typically located on the outlet of the scroll compressor package and is designed to prevent high pressure air from returning into the compressor pump. A faulty check valve can result in high pressure air being sent back into the bare scroll pump and damaging the tip seals.

Atlas Copco / Chicago Pneumatic / Quincy recommend replacing replacing the check valve every 5,000 hours of operation or every 2 years of service, whichever occurs first.

This item may be shown in your parts manual as 2901 0014 50, or 2901001450. The check valve kit includes the piston and two o-rings.
