This Ingersoll Rand separator element should be changed every 1,000 hours or once per year, whichever occurs first. The separator filter removes oil from the airstream before the air is sent into the air cooler. Proactively changing the separator element will reduce the pressure drop across the sump tank, increasing your energy efficiency and preventing oil from getting into your production equipment. When changing the separator element, it is also recommended to change the compressor oil, oil filter, and air filter element.

This separator element was widely used on the Ingersoll Rand ESP-15 rotary screw air compressor manufactuered around 1996 with serial numbers that start with “AN”. Please note that there were several other horsepower models in the ESP range. This separator will only fit the ESP-15 model.
