Ingersoll Rand OEM Scavenge Line Check Valve with Origifice for Rotary Screw Compressors – 22380216

The scavenge check valve with orifice connects the the main airend assembly behind / underneath the oil filter. There is a small nylon tube that connects to one side which is routed back to an elbow underneath the separator element. 22380216 connects to the airend with 1/4″ BSP threads and the tubing is 6mm nylon tubing.

This acts as a check valve to prevent oil backflow into the airend assembly. A blocked or clogged scavenge line can cause excess oil carryover downstream sending compressor oil into the airlines and production equipment. Cleaning the scavenge should be done regularly when servicing your air compressor and is often done when changing the separator element.

This was used on a wide variety of Ingersoll Rand rotary screw compressors, most commonly on certain versions of their UP6 5hp-15hp models and several of their IRN10-15HP compressors.
